Early May Bank Holiday Weekend Cheddar Arts Walking Trail

Once again Cheddar Artists are staging a festival over the May Bank Holiday Weekend that gives residents and visitors the opportunity to experience and view the work of 28 local artists in venues around the village. It creates a walking trail around Cheddar village on the Friday to the Monday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

The artwork on display is also for sale and contains what the artists call ‘original artisan hand-made items, from the beautiful and distinctive to those more functional pieces, these include paintings, jewellery, ceramics and photography.’

Many of the artists are Cheddar residents but some are from further afield – from Axbridge Stella Moore is showcasing her watercolours, and Adam Clutterbuck who will be exhibiting his photography.

Over the weekend there will be several workshops that you can attend plus refreshments, a second-hand bookstall and a plant sale in aid of charity – in 2023 they gave over £400 towards Médecins sans Frontières, Space Cheddar and Sightsavers.
