Bath Fringe Festival has so much but dance is an important ingredient with Unlocked at the Mission Theatre (June1-2), Flamenco Express on June 11 at Chapel Arts and in time for the build up to BBCs Strictly Come Dancing and more pertinently Rambert in November at the Theatre Royal Bath. But there’s also Bluffing Your Way In Ballet – a show that pirouettes its fast-paced and irreverent way through the history of this most dynamic of performing arts, with stories and dances from the ballet greats including Isadora Duncan, Anna Pavlova, Vaslav Nijinsky, Marie Rambert – and Darcey Bussell!
There will also be a free pre-performance dance taster, offered with Alexandra Pickford, formerly of the Royal Ballet Company and English National Ballet, from 6:30 – 7:30pm ahead of the show on Monday 5th and Wednesday 7th June at the Mission Theatre.
