MARCH 4, 2023

By Harry Mottram: England rugby players who are under the age of 20 take on France under the lights on Friday, March 10th, 2023, with an 8pm kick-off.

France haven’t won the tournament since 2018 and before that 2009, while Ireland won the contest last year – but England has most of the Six Nation U20 competitions since it began in 2008 and the previous U21 version.

Bath Rugby Club said: “Sitting at the top of the 2023 U20 Six Nations table on 15 points, England have won three out of three games and have scored over 100 points already in this year’s campaign.”

Previously some of Bath’s academy players have made the England squad so it will be interesting to see the line-up this week.

Tickets range from £5 to £15 and are available from the Bath Rugby website.

For the untrained eye there seems little difference between the skills, body shapes and tactics of the U20s compared to their senior equivalents – with the games if anything just as exciting.
