By Harry Mottram: Members of the The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) will be taking action on the 9-10 February in their pursuit of better pay in Bath and across the South West.

The CPS said up to 4,200 CSP members from 33 trusts across England were taking strike action, as part of the ongoing dispute over the pay award given to NHS staff on the Agenda for Change pay scale.

The CPS is the professional, educational and trade union body for the UK’s 63,000 chartered physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and support workers.

Also taking industrial action are members of Unison involved in operating ambulances for the South West ambulance Service for the RUH in Bath. The RUH said: “Fewer ambulances available and the NHS will be prioritising those with life threatening needs.”
