2017 a starter gets under way

Progressive Supper is nearly here!

We’re so excited for this years event, the biggest we’ve organised in recent years – but HELP! We’ve been doing the maths and keeping it all balanced is an art form – but due to unforeseen circumstances two couples have had to drop out – so if anyone can help out with a last minute application then do contact us at the Facebook site, message me on FB or email harryfmottram@gmail.com Thanks!

We’re pleased to have lots of newbies signed up as well as the Axbridge Progressive Stalwarts. Here’s the plan:

Hosts

If you haven’t hosted before or your details are different from last year, please could you reply to this email with your name, address and mobile number if your house is difficult to find.

Remember to decorate your front door to make it easy to see. Balloons, fairy lights, dancing girls or whatever you like.

Everyone

Order of the night

The night starts in the backroom of The Lamb between 6:30 and 7:15 where you will be asked to draw from a hat where you will be dining. As we have record numbers, there might be a queue, so make sure you’ve been to the bar on the way through.

Bring a fiver!

There is also the opportunity to buy a raffle ticket at £5 each to boost funds for this years charity- Axbridge 2020 pageant.

Safety – bring a torch

Bring a torch – it can be useful when finding your way to your next course!

Course timings

7:30-8:30- Starter

8:45-9:45 Main

10:00- 10:45 Dessert

11:00- Midnight, The Lamb for late drinks, and the raffle draw.

Don’t!

Overstay your welcome at the dessert – but get back to the Lamb to see if you’ve won a prize and have a chat and a coffee with other diners.

Do

Remember to dress to impress, black tie or similar. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

Take a photo or two and post them on social media on the Facebook site or email them to harryfmottram@gmail.com so we can use them for next year to show what a great time you had.
