These photographs are taken as part of my travels for work in Somerset as a journalist. I’m always amazed by the county and its diversity and beauty – and quirkiness. For more see: www.harrymottram.co.uk Also Harry The Spiv on Twitter and Facebook.
Dunball Wharf
Dunball Wharf on the River Parrett is still a working port – one of the last of commercial ports inland in Somerset. Bridgwater further up the river had a busy docks – now all closed. Plans are afoot to build a barrage here which means the end of the tidal surge up the river – and hopefully flooding from the sea.
