Bath City Women go down to home defeat by 0-2 on November 26th at Twerton Park by league leaders Poole Town Ladies. The Dorset based outfit with goals either side of half time – although City gave ‘a good account of themselves’ and finished the game strongly. The development side drew 1-1 with Berrow at Peasdown Recreation Ground, with Ceris Evans on target for the Romans.

Bath City FC bagged a point in a 2-2 draw with Franborough at the weekend and could have won it had the Hampshire keeper had not saved a late penalty from Cody Cooke. City had to come back twice to level the scores with Elliott Fear in the first half and Batten heading home for a draw.

Bath Rugby suffered a narrow 11-9 defeat away to Sale which saw a late penalty by George Ford for the home team to pinch a win for the Lancashire side. Finn Russel scored three penalties but sale had a try by Jonny Hill which in the end was the difference with Ford kicking two penalties.

In other news Odd Down FC won away by 2-4 at Gillingham, Larkhall Athletic thumped Paulton 4-0 at home and Combe down RFC lost away by 40-10 to a strong Frome side.
